Central & Co: Soho

This is a mini-post just to highlight somewhere good – Central & Co on Great Marlborough Street is a pleasant surprise I’ve discovered since beginning a new job on Carnaby Street 30 seconds down the road. You can’t really get more central so it’s a good spot for meeting people then wondering off around Soho.

The cocktails are lovely, and they have lots of sparkling wine to choose from. I stuck with Prosecco for £6.50 – not too bad for the West End. There’s always a fun, buzzy atmosphere, and it’s busy but not insanely so.  Bar boss Alex is friendly and funny and all the staff are super-attentive.

I didn’t eat but the food menu looks lovely – seems to be a mash-up of French, British and Mexican, lots of delicious-sounding little bites and I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I’ve scoffed all of them.

Not sure why I’d not been here before, but I’m sure now it will be a regular thing. Roll on 6pm 🙂
